At CharmVerse, we’ve always believed in supporting the growth of onchain communities. We’ve worked hard to ensure that builders, contributors, and coordinators have the tools they need to collaborate, coordinate, and thrive. But keeping CharmVerse up and running comes with real costs, and to sustain and grow with the communities we serve, we’re updating our pricing model. Rather than pass the burden to a single admin or project lead, we’re launching a shared contribution model where everyone in the community can pitch in and help keep their space active.
Starting soon, CharmVerse will introduce community-based pricing that encourages contribution, ownership, and sustainability powered by $DEV tokens.
The New Pricing Model: Community Contributions
To remain on a paid tier, each space on CharmVerse will now require monthly payment in $DEV tokens. Any community member can purchase $DEV tokens and pledge them to their community space.

Spaces unlock features based on the tier they are in
Just like a shared server on Discord, any member can support the space and the more $DEV tokens contributed, the more powerful the features the community can access.

*Note: Grant Program spaces are not priced in $DEV tokens. Instead, we charge a software fee starting at 1% of the total annual grants processed. The larger the program, the lower the fee.

We understand this is a big shift, so we’re offering a 1-month grace period for all active Spaces created before April 2025. This gives you time to adjust, explore the new tiers, and begin contributing $DEV tokens with your community.
For those who choose to discontinue their use of CharmVerse, we’re also making it easy to export and download your space’s content. This feature will be available ahead of the pricing changes in June, so you can take your data with you if needed.

This pricing change reflects our commitment to long-term sustainability and deeper community ownership. Allowing any member to support a space with $DEV tokens encourages more participation and gives communities the power to keep their coordination stack alive and well.
